Summary
The role of the Deployment Technician will involve working to tight timescales for the delivery of high quality service to our client’s project which is a unique system bringing together complex mechanical, electronic and computer technology.
 
 
The Role
  • Responsible for carrying out and recording planned maintenance activities as assigned by the supervisor in accordance with appropriate work instructions.
  • Assist with operation of handling system during deployment and recovery.
  • Remain on watch in the deployment control cabin during subsea operations in preparedness for emergency response.
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor to identify maintenance and shutdown priorities in order to minimise downtime.
  • Carry out task based risk assessment exercises and take part in toolbox talks as appropriate
  • Assist/guide operations during lifting operations on back deck or during general rigging operations.


The Applicant
·Must be a time served apprentice and /or nationally recognized qualification as a Rigger/Banksman with at lease 3 years experience of working on vessels or oil and gas installations. 
·Previous experience of offshore crane/sub-sea, winch and an ROV deployment background are a pre-requisite for this role.
·Good mechanical knowledge and practical ability to assist with maintenance tasks are essential.
