Senior Subsea Supervisor (6th generation drillship)

• Maintain the BOP, Diverter, and associated subsea equipment
• Operate and pressure test the BOP on the surface and on the seabed as required
• Direct the deck and drill crews in the running and recovery of the BOP and Marine Riser
• Direct the assembly, installation and nippling down of the BOP and all well control equipment as required
• Operate, maintain and repair the subsea BOP control systems, i.e. surface BOP or multiplex electro-hydraulic control systems
• Operate, maintain and test hydraulic connector. Maintain BOP handling equipment, testing equipment and wellhead equipment
• Operate and services the bridge cranes and related hoisting equipment. Ensure the drill string compensator is serviced as required
• Other duties associated with testing, servicing and maintaining of BOP and related equipment

• Demonstrate commitment to Company safety policies through leadership and guidance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for environmental protection
• Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping is maintained on board the rig

• Annual performance and appraisal of staff
• Supervise, instruct and train the Subsea Supervisor and Assistant Subsea Supervisor
• Ensure staff has the necessary skills and experience to fulfil their assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Recommend promotion where due
• Maintain discipline on board and ensure compliance with Company disciplinary procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year experience with a Multiplex system
• Floater experience, preferably drillship
• Good knowledge of all technical calculations required for the subsea operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills
• Valid offshore survival certificate, medical and vaccination certificates
