Well Engineer

• Ideally our geologists will have an oil company background ino order to fully understand the end client (s) commercial imperatives and can take ownership of key reservoir issues
• From basin analysis through prospect generation to field appraisal and development planning, the successful candidate will provide high quality geological interpretations

• Applicants must be suitably qualified in their related disciplince
• Have relevant experience in a drilling/engineering environment
• Possess a sound knowledge of drilling engineering and coil related software packages e.g Compass & Wellplan, Wellflo and Cerberus
• Responsible for candidate well and reservoir selection
• Responsible for well planning, bit, BHS selection design, hydraulics, torque and drag simulations (familiar with Landmark, CTES products)
• Responsible for multi phase hydraulics modelling (Wellfo)_
• Developing Statement of Requirements for sevices and equipment (tendering process)
• Author drilling programmes, associated specialist policies and procedures, submissions and notification
• Responsible for provision of technical support to associated departments, internal and external
• Managing well site interfaces
• Responsible for well delivery in execution phase
• Responsible for project performance monitoring and maintaining project plan
• Responsible for end of well report
