Subsea Engineer - onshore(Well interventions)

Our Client is currently seeking several Project/Subsea Engineers in order to offer technical support to their Clients in the areas of Subsea Well Interventions.

The Role
  • To assist Clients screen potential wells requiring intervention services
  • Preparation, maintenance, safe deployment and efficient operation of Electric Line wireline
  • To successfully operate and to have sufficient working knowledge of Cased Hole Services (Electrical) equipment
  • Assist in report writing and kit packing when required
  • To prepare and implement Cased Hole Services projects or campaigns with minimum supervision
  • Able to supervise and coordinate Clients on/at the job location
  • Attend pre and post test Client meetings when required
  • Ensure the Client’s technical objectives are always understood and effectively communicated to the rest of the team
  • Establish good rapport with onsite client engineers
  • Become familiar with all types of SS trees and interface issues required to safely hook up Client technology
  • To fully comply with the Company’s Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Systems

The Applicant
  • Degree or equivalent qualification i.e. HNC in Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience in wells related subjects including the specific technology provided
  • Minimum 5-7 year’s relevant experience. Must be fully competent on E-Line Cased Hole tools including PLT, Calipers, CBL, and E-Line perforating
  • An effective communicator – able to keep the end Client and Management informed at all times
