Rig Manager - (Ultra Deepwater) Angola

• The management of rig safety performance, operational performance and client relationships.
• Establish shared goals to optimise the use of Company resources.
• Responsible for the rig generating higher levels of revenue

• Must have formal technical or management training. A Bachelor of Science in engineering or business is preferred
• Supervisory Well Control Certificate
• Offshore survival and medical certificates
• Certified in all required safety training programs, including but not limited to underwater safety, fire fighting and helicopter underwater escape
• 10+ years progressive experience of drilling operations
• Ultra deepwater drilling experience
• Knowledge of industry codes and regulations
• Man management experience
• Leadership and employee development skills, able to lead, motivate coach and mentor.
• The ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
• Bilingual preferred i.e. English + Spanish/French/Portuguese
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
